17 December, 2017. I was sitting next to my direct competitor for the 2018 Australian Commonwealth Games Team. 

We're one lift away from deciding who takes the spot. 6 years of hard work. 2 years of relentless training. All for this moment.

I walk out onto the Weightlifting platform. 

It's do or die, I tell myself. And I'd die before I lose.

But...

How did I even get here?

Not so long ago I was just another shy boy from the immigrant suburb of Cabramatta. 

I could never have imagined representing Australia in anything. 

So what changed?

I discovered a set of dumbbells.

 

I fell in love with training...

I spent all my time reading and learning about training. I quickly realised just how much of my life changed when I started to train.

My confidence grew. My physique improved.

My ability to handle stress.

Naturally, I turned to a career in health, becoming a personal trainer first, followed by a physiotherapist.

And I discovered a sad truth.

Just because I VALUE health...

Doesn't mean my clients will. 

And so I started figuring out how to convince my clients to invest in their health, spending hours reading about motivational and sales psychology...

Testing all these new methods on my leads and clients.

Ultimately, I discovered two key principles.

1. People only buy from others they trust and...

2. Building trust is THE ultimate goal in health

ALL health professionals need to learn how to sell

First and foremost, you need to make money (haha).

Secondly, if not more important... your patients need to buy you before they buy health.

You are the coach, physiotherapist, trainer (or whatever health profession you choose) and your patients come to see YOU.

And that's why it's not enough just to know your craft.

You need to be able to demonstrate your craft.

To communicate your craft.

To sell your craft.

Health is the foundation for life...

It lets us go to work.

It helps us connect with our loved ones.

It lets us LIVE the way we want to.

Personally, if it wasn't for that set of dumbbells... I doubt I would've ever had a chance at representing my country.

It is THE reason why all these great clinicians and health professionals get into the field.

Because it doesn't just keep us healthy. It gives us possibilities.

It's why chose this career.

And the more people we can persuade to invest in their health.

The healthier, happier and more fulfilled they'll be.

And that's why I teach you how to sell health

Because the first barrier that stops people from getting healthier...

Is whether they want to buy into the lifestyle.

And without the skill of selling,

You won't be able to sell as many people into their health,

And you know exactly where that leads.
